Nancy is a senior at Arkansas Tech University, pursuing a degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security. Originally from the West Coast, she developed an early interest in emergency management and response after experiencing wildfire threats and evacuations in her community. Her passion deepened through medical courses at her local community college and by joining a firefighting leadership program in high school.

Upon entering college, Nancy became a volunteer firefighter, which ultimately led her to discover her calling in the broader field of emergency management. She earned her Associate’s degree in General Studies in 2024 and is on track to graduate with her bachelor’s degree in May 2026.

Now residing in Fayetteville, Arkansas with her husband Harrison—who studies at the University of Arkansas and serves in the Arkansas National Guard—Nancy is eager to gain hands-on experience and contribute her enthusiasm and dedication to the TRI team.
