The Resiliency Initiative (TRI) today announced the appointment of Faith Newton as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Newton steps into the role following three years of significant contributions to the organization’s growth and operational maturity. During her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening TRI’s service delivery, expanding client relationships, and building the internal infrastructure necessary to support continued scale.
That’s a Wrap: The Resiliency Institute Completes Its First Virtual Resiliency Academy
In March 2026, The Resiliency Institute, TRI’s 501c3 reached an exciting milestone with the completion of its first-ever virtual Resiliency Academy.
Over two days, a dynamic group of professionals from across sectors came together to strengthen their skills in crisis management, business continuity, and all-hazards preparedness. What made the experience especially meaningful was not just the content, but the collaboration, participants sharing insights, asking thoughtful questions, and learning from one another in real time.
TRI Leadership Presented at Critical Infrastructure and Protection North America Conference
Joe Threat led a session on critical infrastructure and preparedness in a dynamic risk environment, exploring how organizations can better anticipate, adapt, and respond to evolving threats. Andrea Davis presented on strategic resiliency planning, sharing insights on how organizations can build more adaptive, sustainable preparedness approaches in an increasingly complex risk landscape.
